One More Step
	This is a painting in acrylic from a drawing I sketched back in 1989. It had to do with the stress I felt over going into the military. I had the choice of serving my country or staying in school while, at the same time, dealing with a stressful relationship. I made the choice of going into the Navy. It destroyed the relationship.

The Emotion of Indecision
	This painting was from a sketch I made the day after One More Step. I struggled internally with indecision. This sketch would later be modified somewhat to include my struggle with broken relationships and trying to cope.

Color Study-Japoniserie
	This is a color study of Van Gogh's Japoniserie. I am intrigued by his use of color. My version differs somewhat. I included more detailing in the kimono and some other differences. It was an interesting choice of colors.
